About me
Jacques is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Criminology. His career with the Parole Board began as a Parole Officer in the Griffin Parole Office. He
served as a Senior Parole Officer and Specialized Parole Officer where he supervised Electronic
Monitoring, Sex Offenders and Mental Health cases. He also served as the Arrest Team coordinator, MRT
facilitator, GCIC terminal operator, and as a Field Training Officer.
In 2012, he was promoted to the position of Hearing Examiner and excelled at short sentence, guideline
and lifer cases. In 2018, Jacques was promoted to the position of Senior Hearing Examiner. In 2022,
Jacques was selected as the Parole Board Employee of the Year. Currently, he leads the Critical Analysis
Unit and serves as the District Attorney Liaison for the Board along with a host of other duties and
responsibilities.
