About me
Background: I am a career Public Defender. University of Georgia Class of 2007 (history/philosophy). Washington & Lee University School of Law Class of 2010.From Hagan, GA. Currently, live in Liberty County, GA. Started as an Assistant Public Defender in the Middle Judicial Circuit in 2010. Moved to the Brunswick Circuit in 2012 where I became Chief Assistant Public Defender in 2013. I handle a variety of cases from start to finish including thefts, drug cases, homicides, sex crimes, violations of probation, and post conviction matters. I have argued before the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Court of Appeals of Georgia. Tried approximately 50 cases to verdict. I volunteer to edit Supreme Court of Georgia cases for GACDL's What's the Decision, serve as a coach for Wayne County's High School Mock Trial Team, and as a TILPP trainer.
